Steel blades hardened and blue annealed, connection between stock and blade created by brass bracket let in on both sides and riveted in four places. This connection guarantees maximum and enduring measurement accuracy of 0.01 mm.

As the slot continues as far as the end, also suitable for internal meaurements.
