We protect your privacy and your private data. We collect, process and use your personal data in compliance with the content of these provisions on data protection as well as the applicable German data protection laws, especially the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz).

These data protection provisions explain the personal data we collect, process and use. We therefore ask you to read the following information through carefully.

1. Collecting personal data

In this connection we collect personal data from you as follows: information about your visits to our website such as, for example, the scope of data transfer, the place from where you access our website as well as other connection data and sources which you access. This generally takes place through the use of log files and cookies. Further information about log files and cookies is provided below.

2. Purpose of use

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

2.1 to provide you with the services you request [access to the image library, sending information such as newsletters, catalogues and further sales documentation, contact via the contact form];

2.2 to ensure that our website is presented to you in the most effective and interesting way possible;

2.3 to comply with our obligations arising from any agreements concluded between us;

2.5 to inform you about changes to our services.

3. Information about your computer, cookies and targeting

3.1 Every time you access our website we collect the following information about your computer: the IP address of your computer, the request from your browser as well as the time the request is made. The status and quantity of the data transferred in the framework of this request is also recorded. [We also collect product and version information about the browser used and the operating system of your computer. We also record the website from which our website was accessed.] The IP address of your computer is only saved for the duration of use of the website and is subsequently immediately deleted or anonymised by way of abbreviation. The other data are saved for a limited period of time. We use these data for the operation of our website, especially for the purpose of detecting and remedying errors in order to determine the capacity utilisation of the website and to make adjustments or improvements.

3.2 Under certain circumstances we also collect information about your use of our website by using what are known as browser cookies. These are small text files stored on your data carrier which store certain settings and data for the purpose of communicating with our system via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie data were sent as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumerical identifier. Cookies allow our system to recognise the device of the user and to make any presettings immediately available. As soon as a user accesses the platform, a cookie is transmitted to the hard drive of the computer of the respective user. Cookies help us to improve our website and to be able to provide you with a better more tailored service. They allow us to recognise your computer again when you return to our website and this

  • allows us to save information about your preferred activities on the website which makes it possible for us to align our website with your personal interests. This includes, for example, advertising which corresponds to your personal interests;
  • increases the speed with which your requests are processed.

3.3 The cookies we use only save the data mentioned above about your use of our website. This does not take place by assigning them to you personally but by assigning an identification number to the cookie ("Cookie ID"). We do not merge the Cookie ID with your name, your IP address or with similar data which would make it possible to assign the cookie to a particular person. You can prevent browser cookies being stored on your computer by following the instructions under 3.6.

3.4 Our website uses what is known as tracking technology. We use this technology to make our website more interesting for you. This technology makes it possible for us to display advertising to Internet users who have already shown an interest in our website on the websites of our partners. These advertisements are displayed on the websites of our partners using cookie technology and an analysis of previous user behaviour. A pseudonym is used for this analysis and no user profiles are merged with your personal data. If you do not agree to user profiles being created, you can object to this by sending us a message. A special opt-out cookie will then be placed on your computer which must be permanently stored. If you delete this cookie or if it is automatically deleted by your browser settings, you will need to install a new cookie the next time you visit our website.

3.5 We work together with business partners [freywerbung GmbH, 88348 Bad Saulgau] which help to make the Internet offering and our website more interesting for you. When you visit the website, cookies from these partner companies are therefore also stored on your hard drive. These are cookies which automatically delete themselves after a set period of time. Our partner companies also only collect data using a Cookie ID. This makes it possible for our advertising partners to show you advertising which might really be of interest to you. You can prevent such cookies being stored on your computer by following the instructions under 3.6.

3.6 If you do not want to use browser cookies, you can change your browser settings so that cookies are not accepted. Please note that this will lead to your use of our website being restricted and you may not be able to use it at all. If you want to accept our cookies but not the cookies of our service providers, you can choose the setting "block cookies from third parties" in your browser.

4. Data security

All information which you send to us is saved on servers inside the European Union. Unfortunately, the transmission of data via the Internet is not completely secure. This is why we cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted to our website via the Internet.

However, we protect our website and other systems by taking technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification and processing of your data by unauthorised parties.

5. No disclosure of your personal data

We do not pass on your personal data to third parties unless you have consented to the data being passed on or we are entitled or have a duty to pass on the information on grounds of statutory provisions and/or official or court orders. This can especially include providing information for the purposes of criminal prosecution, to avert risks or to enforce intellectual property rights.
